Award winning artist Susan E. Roden resides and maintains an art studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  She exhibits nationally and was the recipient of the 1994 Medal of Honor for pastels from the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club (New York) and the 1996 Yarka Award from the Salmagundi Club of New York.  She was the Artist-In-Residence to Arizona's Petrified Forest National Park in 2009 and to California's Dairy Farm in 2020.  Her works have been featured in Decor & Style, The Pastel Journal, San Diego Home / Garden Lifestyles, and on the cover of Pastel Artist International Magazine in 2002 accompanied by a ten page article of her technique.  Museum collections include:  Women's Museum of California, The Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation of San Diego (California) and the Petrified Forest National Park.
