Neo-realist artist began his career with pen and ink renderings of historical architecture.  He began painting in 1980, drawing inspiration from Edward Hopper, Richard Esters and Vermeer.  Nearly all of his paintings are based on photographs he has taken over the years with the intent to depict nostalgic scenes and to find the mystery of the ordinary.  Museum exhibitions include: Pasadena Museum of History, Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, Huntington Beach Art Museum, Brea Cultural Center, Oceanside Museum of Art and Casa Romantica.  He has been a featured artist in Orange Coast Magazine and Blue Canvas Magazine and his work has been recently published in Asymmetric Magazine, Hyerrealism Magazine and American Artist Magazine.
