Award-winning artist, Arthur Egeli is a third generation portrait painter.  He is the grandson of portrait painters Lois Baldwin Egeli and Bjorn Egeli, who painted the official portraits of Nixon and Eisenhower.  His parents, Joanette and Cedric Egeli are among the most sought after portrait painters in the United States.  Arthur studied color with Impressionist Henry Hensche and the figure with his father and grandfather and then fused these influences into a style which combines light and form.   Arthur has been honored by both the American Society of Portrait Painters and the Portrait Society of America.  Museum exhibitions included the Pasadena Museum of History and the Pasadena Museum of California Art.  Arthur Egeli is a member of the American Society of Portrait Painters, American Impressionist Society and the California Art Club.
